Information You Submit
A search typed into a third-party search box passes to the provider that operates the tool. That provider, not this site, determines how the query is processed and whether a paid service is offered. A message sent through a contact method may include the sender’s name, email address, message text, and any details the sender chooses to include. Do not send Social Security numbers, account credentials, medical facts, or other sensitive identifiers.
Automatic Technical Data
Web servers and service providers may collect an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, rough location, timestamps, and error records. Cookies or similar storage can remember preferences, measure traffic, support advertising, prevent abuse, and help third-party tools function. Browser settings can block or clear cookies, though some features may then work poorly.
How Data Is Used
Collected information may be used to deliver pages, respond to messages, maintain security, diagnose errors, understand use patterns, improve navigation, prevent misuse, and support search or advertising services. It is not used to create or control Kane County Jail, UDC, court, BOP, or ICE records. Those government records remain with their issuing agencies.
Links Beyond This Site
Links lead to Kane County offices, Utah corrections and courts, VINELink, federal locators, and other resources. Each destination controls its own collection, cookies, security, and retention. Opening an outside page places the visitor under that page’s privacy terms.
Who May Receive Data
Information may be shared with search partners that process submitted queries, hosting and security vendors, analytics services, and advertising networks. It may also be disclosed to comply with a valid legal order, protect rights and system safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. Personal information is not promised to remain within one state because providers may operate across jurisdictions.
Reasonable Security Measures
Administrative and technical safeguards are used on a best-effort basis. No internet transmission, browser storage, vendor system, or email exchange can be guaranteed fully secure. Visitors should limit what they submit and use official encrypted agency channels for sensitive record requests.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This resource is intended for adults and is not directed to people under 18. It does not knowingly seek personal information from minors. A parent or guardian who believes a minor supplied information may use the Contacts page to request review.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, a user may ask what personal data was submitted directly, request correction or deletion, object to certain processing, or opt out of some cookies through browser and provider controls. A request may require reasonable identity verification. Rights over sheriff, court, or corrections records must be exercised with the agency that owns them, including Utah GRAMA routes where applicable.
